Everest VR

We designed a virtual reality expedition to the highest point in the world for the exhibition "Gipfelstürmen" at Schloss Trautenfels - Universalmuseum Joanneum in Austria. Working with Robert Schauer, the curator and first Austrian to reach the summit of Mount Everest in 1978, and his team was a real pleasure. Obtaining content from the highest place on earth seemed like an impossible task at first, but in the end we succeeded.

Everest VR experience

We designed a virtual reality expedition to the highest point in the world for the exhibition "Gipfelstürmen" at Schloss Trautenfels - Universalmuseum Joanneum in Austria. Working with Robert Schauer, the curator and first Austrian to reach the summit of Mount Everest in 1978, and his team was a real pleasure. Sourcing content from the highest place on earth seemed like an impossible task at first, but in the end we succeeded. The virtual reality app combines breathtaking 360° photos with dynamic 3D elements, offering users an immersive and engaging experience. Through the virtual expedition, visitors can experience the challenges and beauty of climbing Mount Everest first-hand without leaving the safety of the museum. This technologically advanced presentation provides a unique insight into the extreme conditions and breathtaking scenery experienced by climbers on their way to the summit. It is a tribute to the human spirit of exploration and the fascination of the mountain world.
